(“PlainFactor,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your information when you visit www.plainfactor.com (the “Site”) or use any related services (the “Services”). By accessing the Services, you agree to the practices described below. If you disagree, please do not use the Services.

- Contact Details — name, billing and shipping address, email, phone number.
- Account Credentials — username, password, security questions.
- Order & Payment Data — items purchased, payment confirmation (last 4 digits of card only), shipping status.
- Customer Support Content — messages, reviews, attachments you send us.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically (“Usage Data”)
- IP address, device identifiers, browser type, operating system.
- Interaction data (pages viewed, clicks, cart actions, time on site).
- Approximate geolocation derived from IP.
We capture Usage Data with cookies, pixels, SDKs and similar technologies. See Section 7.

- Advertising & Social Media Partners — to deliver ads and measure performance.

We “sell” and “share” identifiers, commercial information, and Usage Data with advertising networks for cross-context behavioral advertising, as defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and similar state laws. You may opt out any time via the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in our footer or by emailing ceo@plainfactor.com.
6. Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to:
- operate your account and fulfill orders,
- comply with U.S. tax and bookkeeping laws (typically 7 years),
- resolve disputes and enforce agreements.
When no longer required, we delete or de-identify the data.
7. Cookies & Similar Technologies
We use:
- Essential cookies for site functionality and security,
- Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4, Shopify) to understand performance,
- Advertising cookies (Google Ads, Meta, TikTok) for personalized ads.
You can manage cookies via your browser or our consent banner. The Site honors the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. We do not respond to other “Do Not Track” signals.
8. Security
We secure data with TLS 1.3 encryption, access controls, PCI-DSS-compliant payment processing, and regular security reviews. Despite these safeguards, no website is 100 % secure. Protect your password and contact us if you suspect unauthorized activity.
9. International Transfers
We operate solely from the United States. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., you understand your information will be processed and stored in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
10. Your U.S. Privacy Rights
Residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut and Utah may:
- Request to know/access specific pieces of personal information we hold,
- Ask us to delete or correct personal information,

11. Children’s Privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in California). We do not knowingly collect children’s data. Contact us if you believe a child has provided us personal information and we will delete it.
